iPhone formats & limits
JPEG, PNG, WebP photos; SDR MP4, MOV and WebM videos. Up to 50 MiB per file, 16 megapixels, and 3–180 seconds per video here. Existing full Studio trimming still supports source videos up to 15 minutes.
HEIC/HEIF, ProRAW and HDR/Dolby Vision need an exported JPEG or SDR video first. On iPhone, Camera → Formats → Most Compatible; turn HDR Video off for future recordings. Live Photos are a still image plus a separate motion file. Export the part you want. If your browser cannot preview HEVC, export H.264 MP4.
